Rock for Hearts 2007

The Rock for Hearts 2007 event is the evolution from the Annual Wine for Hearts party that the Krewe has hosted for the past 4 years to raise money for All Children's Hospital.

The Krewe of the Conquistadors is a collection of individuals with a common goal. To enjoy the friendships forged and to give back to the community. One of the Krewe's founding members daughter Allison had a successful operation at All Children's Hospital to correct a heart defect and we as an organization have never looked back. Ever since the Krewe of the Conquistadors has focused their entire fundraising efforts at the All Children's Hospital Cardiac Care Program.

The Krewe loves to be involved with the kids currently in the hospital. Each year we:

Parade with kids (patients) and their parents in the Gasparilla Kids Parade.
Fund and participate in the Hearts Day event where the kids in the hospital now get to meet healthy kids that previously were in their shoes
Visit the hospital in our Conquistador regalia giving out bead and making the kids going though a life time of struggles smile

Through our fundraising efforts the Krewe has already funded the construction of the new waiting room for the Cardiac Care Unit and continues to work with the Building Miracles Campaign to give back to All Children's Hospital where children are cared for and lives are saved every day.
